Cache Replacements

As promised, I have started replacing the planet “caches” with new ammo boxes.  Neptun and Pluto are complete, Saturn is already an ammo box.  I hope to have all inner planets complete before winter hits.     The new cache containers are real ammo boxes, built to last.

Previously unknown planets!

It has come to my attention that some new planets have either been recently discovered, or have drifted into the solar system.   For example, the Planet of the Wizards: https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC3TR7R_planet-of-the-wizards   And, of course, Planet DIZFIZ: https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC3TQMM_the-solar-system-planet-dizfiz   I have yet to visit these exciting places, but I cannot vouch for their authenticity.   Previously unknown planets!

Website Updates

I’ve made major updates to the site this week, including new maps, directions, all new images, and descriptive information.  I’ve also added the “Planetary Tours” list, with suggested tour plans having various degrees of difficulty. Unseasonable Weather

On most years, travel within the Solar System is severely limited this time of year.  The summit gets many feet of snow, and Bowman Road itself is closed long before you reach the turn-off to Grouse Ridge.  However, I suspect that much of the system is reachable.
